Honor of Kings- Marksman Power Rankings

2024-09-05 16:32:17

The following will introduce the marksmen based on their power rankings.

1. Shouyue, Arli, Loong

Shouyue has undergone many changes, and even after the rework this season, his overall strength remains very high. However, his basic attack range, ultimate slow ratio, basic attack bullet acquisition speed, and passive physical penetration have all been weakened. His win rate is quite respectable, and he is frequently banned. Shouyue is relatively weak in the early game but can alleviate pressure by farming from a distance with his second skill. Once he completes his three core items, he becomes very powerful, with a range of 855 units. After purchasing the Sunchaser, his range increases even further. Additionally, his third skill provides three long-distance dashes, making it very difficult for assassin-type junglers to kill him in the late game.

Arli has very advanced skill mechanics and high mobility. Despite undergoing multiple nerfs, she remains strong, but mastering Arli requires a lot of practical experience. Skilled players can deal high damage with her, but players with poorer mechanics may find her damage lacking, and she is prone to dying easily in team fights.

Loong is a new hero introduced this year with high strength, possessing skills for damage, healing, control, and survival. He is the only marksman who can have all these skill effects simultaneously. Loong's skills are relatively simple and easy to pick up, making him highly recommended for players to try out.

2. Di Renjie, Lady Sun, Hou Yi

These three heroes have always been strong picks. Di Renjie can quickly come online and doesn't have special requirements for team compositions, making him quite versatile.

Lady Sun can unleash burst damage with her enhanced basic attacks from her second skill, and her first skill provides a dash and acceleration, giving her significant maneuverability and survival opportunities.

Hou Yi's strength this season is also notable, with a 10% increase in attack speed at level one and a 24% increase at max level, further enhancing his damage output. He particularly excels in the "farming" system in mid to low tiers, making him difficult to counter.

3. Alessio, Marco Polo, Consort Yu, Garo, Luban No.7

Alessio's basic attack range has been reverted to 850 units this season, with a 5-point increase in movement speed. Although his pick rate is low, his win rate has improved compared to before. His first skill enhances splash damage on basic attacks, combined with his range advantage and second and third skills, he can exert good control effects, but he is weaker in the early game and mainly powers up in the late game.

Marco Polo is very popular with many players, but some consider him a version trap. His two dashes, passive brush-checking mechanism, and perfect synergy with semi-tank builds give him excellent mobility and self-preservation abilities, posing a significant threat with true damage against tanky heroes. However, his weaknesses are evident—weak early game laning and high risk in using his ultimate. Carrying Purify reduces his ability to trap enemies with his ultimate, and carrying Stun makes it easy for enemies to interrupt his third skill. This hero greatly tests players' mechanics and game sense. Additionally, Marco Polo paired with Yao can have a good synergy.

Consort Yu's strengths and weaknesses are clear. Her second skill provides physical immunity, resisting many lethal physical attacks, but her attack speed is low, and she lacks mobility and burst. Playing Consort Yu well requires good game sense.

Luban No.7's weaknesses are also evident—he lacks mobility and relies on teammates for protection, but he boasts high damage.

4. Huang Zhong, Erin, Fang

The common trait among these marksmen is their weak early game laning phase. Not only do they struggle to contest the Red Buff and Armor Crab early on, but being pressured in lane can also lead to easy invasions in the jungle on their side of the map.

In particular, Fang and Genghis Khan have essentially become "neglected heroes" in the current meta. They lack any advantages against other marksmen under similar economic conditions, making their laning and team fight strengths very concerning.
