Honor of Kings has its own ranking system. Each season of this mode goes on for about 3 months. Your overall performance is calculated at the end of the season, and appropriate changes are made to your Tier. You will be able to play Ranked mode once you reach level 6 and own at least 5 characters. The matchmaking with teammates and opponents is done according to your rank/level. You cannot team up or play against someone who has a rank difference of two levels with you.
In this mode, the players have to destroy the base of the enemy but at the same time defend their own base too. You will win the game once your team destroys the other team's base or if the opponent surrenders. There are 7 major Tiers in this mode, namely Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master and Grandmaster. To speed up your way to the Grandmaster level, consider using Honor of Kings tokens to buy valuable resources as well as strong characters. This will enhance your performance, making your battles easier. You can easily get the tokens from TOPUPlive, the most reputed and trusted in-game currency seller on the web.
To play Ranked Mode you must reach level 6 and own 5 heroes in your collection. Once you meet these conditions, then you can select the Ranked Mode and click the start button. Tap on Enter Room and start Matchmaking. Choose your hero, and then the game will match you with your opponent.
Ranking System
Winning a match will help you move forward in your rank. To upgrade to the next rank, you must reach the maximum star of your current rank. This will initiate a Tier Advancement match. Winning this match will give you another star and also a promotion to the next Tier. However, if you keep on getting defeated to the point that you lose all your stars, you will have to play a relegation match. This will lead to a demotion in your level or tier if you lose without any rank protection
Tiers
The game includes 7 major ranking tiers. They are as follows:
Bronze rank has 3 sub-tiers. Only in this tier players won't lose any stars. Silver rank has 3 sub-tiers. While matchmaking, Bronze and Silver are treated as one Tier. Gold rank includes 4 sub tiers. Diamond and Mastery ranks have 5 sub-tiers each.
Grandmaster rank- This rank has 3 tiers. You will remain in grandmaster rank until you gain 25 stars. Gaining 25 stars will take you to the Mythic tier. Further reaching 50 stars will upgrade you to Epic Tier. Attaining 100 stars will grant you with Legend Tier. Every 25 stars of this rank is considered a major tier in matchmaking. Additionally, being a grandmaster will enable you to choose an exclusive title for yourself. This title will remain for 2 seasons. To attain this rank, make sure to have a powerful team equipped with strong characters and gears. Buy Honor of Kings tokens to obtain strong characters and invest in them to enhance their abilities. Reaching Grandmaster rank will also reward you with Grandmaster skins.
The system reviews all the Grandmaster players every week. If the player has remained inactive in ranked match activities the entire week, then they will lose 1 star.

Bravery Points and Star Protection
Players obtain bravery Points after each match regardless of winning or losing. These points are calculated according to the player's reward for not going AFK, excellent performance of the player or winning streak, and earning a gold medal reward. Going AFK in the battle will not reward you with any Bravery points.
Obtaining a certain number of bravery points will activate Star Protection. This makes sure that you don't lose a star when you lose a match. Instead, you will be losing bravery points. As your rank increases, more Bravery points will be used for star Protection. You can use a Star Protection card for the same purpose.
Additionally, Bravery points can be used to add stars. After you reach the limit for bravery points, winning a match will consume some of your bravery points to grant you an extra star.
Pick/Ban Phase
Reaching the Diamond tier will unlock this feature. It allows both teams to ban and pick heroes, taking turns. A hero cannot be picked twice. Only senior and high-proficiency heroes can be picked. Additionally, players can vote for a restart if they face unbalanced lineups.
Conclusion
The Honor of Kings Ranked Mode offers thrilling and competitive battles to the players. Regardless of the outcome of the match, this mode recognizes your efforts and performance. Losing a match despite performing well will compensate you with bravery points.
To speed up the ranking process, it is recommended that players learn to be great Junglers. Junglers play an important role in this mode. They should also try to figure out the hero that suits their play style the best and master them. To strategize properly, get familiar with the map and gear up your heroes well.
