1. Elemental Reactions

Escoffier is a 5star Cryo character wielding a polearm in Genshin Impact. Her elemental abilities can trigger various reactions:

 Melt:

When Escoffier's Cryo attacks interact with Pyro, the Melt reaction occurs. If her Cryo triggers Melt on a Pyro affected enemy, the damage multiplier is 1.5x. Conversely, if a Pyro attack triggers Melt on an enemy affected by Escoffier's Cryo, the damage multiplier is 2x. This reaction can significantly boost the damage output, especially in teams with a Pyro character like Xiangling or Diluc.

 Frozen:

Escoffier's Cryo can freeze enemies when combined with Hydro. This not only halts the enemy's actions (except for bosses) but also sets up for Shatter reactions. When a frozen enemy is hit by a Geo attack, a claymore's blunt attack, or a plunging/heavy attack, the Shatter reaction deals physical damage and removes the frozen status. In a team with Hydro characters such as Xingqiu or Mona, Freeze can be a powerful crowd control and damage setup strategy.

 Superconduct:

Escoffier's Cryo can also trigger Superconduct when combined with Electro. This reaction deals AoE Cryo damage and decreases the physical resistance of affected enemies. In teams with Electro characters like Fischl or Raiden Shogun, Superconduct can enhance the overall damage output, especially for characters who deal physical damage.

4.Talent Prioritization

Elemental Burst:

Escoffier's elemental burst not only deals Cryo area damage but also restores health to all nearby party members, with the restoration amount depending on her ATK. Prioritizing the upgrade of this talent will increase both the damage and the healing output, making it a top priority.

Elemental Skill:

Her elemental skill can deal Cryo damage in different ways, such as launching "Frosty Parfait" and summoning "Flow - Surging Blade". Upgrading this talent will increase the damage dealt, and also, considering its role in triggering certain buffs (like reducing enemy Cryo and Hydro resistances based on the number of Cryo and Hydro characters in the team), it should be upgraded to a reasonable level.

Normal Attack:

Since Escoffier is mainly a support - oriented character, her normal attack is not her main source of damage. However, if you plan to use her for some offensive maneuvers or if her normal attack is affected by certain passives, it can be upgraded, but usually, it has a lower priority compared to the elemental skills and burst.

5.Team Compositions

 Freeze Team:

Escoffier: As the Cryo support, she can freeze enemies when combined with Hydro from other teammates. Her elemental burst provides healing, and her skills can reduce enemy Cryo and Hydro resistances.

Ganyu: A powerful Cryo DPS, Ganyu's charged attacks can deal massive Cryo damage. The frozen enemies from Escoffier's support make it easier for Ganyu to land her shots and deal even more damage.

Xingqiu: His Hydro attacks can combine with Escoffier's Cryo to trigger Freeze. Xingqiu also provides damage increasing buffs and some defensive capabilities with his rain swords.

Kazuha: An Anemo character, Kazuha can swirl Cryo and Hydro elements, spreading them to nearby enemies and increasing the damage of the Cryo and Hydro attacks. His elemental mastery can also boost the overall damage of the team's elemental reactions.

 Melt Team:

Escoffier: Her Cryo attacks can set up the Melt reaction for a Pyro DPS character. She also offers healing support to the team.

Diluc: A strong Pyro DPS, Diluc's attacks can trigger Melt with Escoffier's Cryo. His high damage output can be further enhanced by the Melt reaction.

Bennett: Bennett's elemental burst not only provides a large ATK boost to the team but also applies Pyro, which can be used to trigger Melt. His healing ability also complements Escoffier's.

Rosaria: Another Cryo character, Rosaria can provide additional Cryo application and also has a passive that can increase the team's Crit Rate, which is beneficial for both Escoffier and Diluc.

Support Oriented Team for Hydro or Cryo DPS:

Escoffier: With her ability to reduce enemy Hydro and Cryo resistances based on the number of Hydro and Cryo characters in the team, she is an excellent support. Her healing also ensures the survival of the team.

Ayato: As the main damage dealer, Ayato's Hydro attacks will benefit from Escoffier's resistance reduction.

Yelan: Yelan can provide additional Hydro application and deal high damage off field, further enhancing the team's damage output.

Diona: Diona can provide shields and healing, and her Cryo application can also work in tandem with Escoffier's to trigger certain reactions. Her shield can protect the team from enemy attacks, especially useful when the team is focused on dealing damage.
