Honkai: Star Rail Simulated Universe is a rogue-like mode that challenges the players to combat enemies and obtain rewards. The Simulated Universe consists of 9 worlds with random sets of enemies. As you progress through the stages, the enemies become more difficult, therefore the game offers blessings and curios that have to be collected. Players can collect these blessings and curios to enhance their power.
However, some curios require certain tasks to be completed before they can work, and others work like consumables. Even after these buffs, if you are still facing trouble in defeating the enemies, then it is best to use 5-star characters with a suitable element. Modes in Simulated Universe
After you complete certain worlds, different modes unlock. They are as follows:
Swarm Disaster: This mode unlocks once you reach World 5. The challenge in this mode is to clear Difficulty 5, also known as Torturous Difficulty. On completion, it rewards the players with Stellar Jades and Self-Modeling Resin.
Gold and Gears: This mode unlocks once you clear Simulated Universe World 5. To access this mode, click the Expansion Module button at the bottom left corner of the Simulated Universe menu. Select Gold and Gears, then click Start Exploring to choose a difficulty.
Divergent Universe: It unlocks once you clear Simulated Universe World 3. The rewards include Stellar Jades, Relics Remains, Traveler's Guide, Credit, etc.
Unknowable Domain: This mode will unlock after completing Simulated Universe World 5. The range of rewards offered in this mode is the same as the others.
Unlock Simulated Universe
To unlock this mode, players need to complete the Trailblazer mission Simulated Universe: First Closed Beta present in the chapter Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow. Once you defeat the Doomsday Beast of the Lingering Shadows Trailblaze mission, it will unlock the Simulated Universe quest.
Worlds in Simulated Universe
There are 9 worlds in this rogue-like mode. As players increase their Trailblaze level, the difficult levels in this mode will also unlock. All the difficulty levels offer rewards when you complete them for the first time. However, replaying them will only give other rewards such as enemy loot, Relics EXP Material, etc. At the beginning of each gameplay, players are offered to choose a path. This provides them with path-specific advantages and increases their chance of getting more Blessings of the corresponding path.
To complete the world, players need to go through all the various domains present in it. The World boss appears in the last domain. Completing these worlds offers a certain number of points. These points can be used to get Point Rewards.
World 1
It typically has 7 domains and the team level is recommended to be 16. It is best to choose Blessings of Remembrance as your path.
The ideal team composition to complete this world includes Seele as the Main DPS, Bronya and Sparkle as support, and Lynx as the healer. Seele is one of the best characters in this world as both the boss's enemies are weak to Quantum. Seele is a 5-star character. As 5-star characters are exclusive, therefore obtaining them involves a long process. World 2
It is generally recommended to go for The Remembrance Path in this world. It controls the battlefield and delays the enemy attacks by freezing them. Most of the bosses here are weak to Ice. World 3
This world has 5 difficulties. The Hunt path is considered best here. The best team includes Argenti as the Main DPS, Tingyun and Hanya as Support, and Luocha as the Healer. In World 3 or later, you will be rewarded with Ability Points. These Ability Points can unlock permanent upgrades in the Ability Tree. For example, if the team does not win and will have to play from the beginning again, Points and Ability Points will still be rewarded up to the domain completed.
World 4
It has 5 difficulty levels. The best paths include Destruction and also Nihility. If you choose Destruction, then the best team will include Blade as the Main DPS, Bronya and Asta as support, and Huohuo as the healer. However, if you choose Nihility, then it's best to include Kafka as the Main DPS, Black Swan and Guinaifen as Sub-DPS, and Huohuo as the healer.
World 5
Players have to complete 5 difficulty levels. It is best to collect enough Abundance blessings by the time you reach this world to unlock Path Resonance: The Abundance. One of the multiple ideal teams includes Argenti as the Main DPS, Hanya and Tingyun as support, and Huohuo as the healer.
World 6
You have to go through 4 difficulty levels. Abundance is one of the best paths to clear this world. Some of the best teams include Acheron as the Main DPS, Jiaoqiu as the sub-DPS, Silver Wolf as Support, and Gallagher as the healer.
World 7
Players have to go through 4 difficulty levels. One of the Hunt paths is considered the best as it helps with dealing a lot of damage, and its Path Resonance can face the Twig Summons done by the Abundant Ebon Deer boss. For this path, it's best to include Seele as your Main DPS, Bronya and Sparkle as support, and Fu Xuan as Utility.
World 8
Players have to complete 4 difficulty levels. Propagation is the best path to choose in this world. However, if you have not unlocked Propagation, you can also choose The Hunt as your path. The best team for the Propagation path includes Imbibitor Lunae as the Main DPS, Pela and Sparkle as support, and Luocha as the healer.
World 9
You have to clear 4 difficulty levels. The Hunt path is considered the best here. For this path, it is ideal to include Imbibitor Lunae as the Main DPS, Silver Wolf and Sparkle as support, and Luocha as the healer.
Rewards
Completing all the 9 worlds offers a wide variety of rewards. Completing it for the first time will give you items like Trailblaze EXP, Stellar Jades, Star Rail Pass, Herta Bond, and Herta.
