Planar Ornaments is a type of Relic in Honkai: Star Rail can be obtained through Simulated Universe mode. Access to Farming

When you explore Herta's Universe, you will come across Immersion devices every time you enter an Elite combat domain or the final boss battle. After defeating all the enemies, players can interact with the immersion device they came across. You can either spend 40 Trailblaze Power or one Immersifier to open up the device. Doing so will enable you to receive all the random Planar Ornaments on the screen.
Enemies are randomized in Simulated Universe. Different enemies drop different Planar Ornaments. The more difficult and elite the enemy boss is, the rarer the Planar Ornament will be. To tackle these tough and elite bosses, players need to strategically compose their team and gear them up with powerful light cones. Light cones help in swift battles by providing powerful buffs to the character and team.
5-Star Light cones offer the best boosts without much investment. In the Light cone vent warps, players get a guaranteed 5-star light cone after every 80 pulls. Each Immersion device allows the Planar Ornaments to be collected only once. This system resets every week following the weekly reset of the Simulated Universe mode.
Divergent Universe
In Simulated Universe, Divergent Universe is a mode that unlocks once you clear Simulated Universe World 3. After completing Divergent Universe, the build content can be saved. When you upgrade these Relics, the main stats will definitely increase. However, sub-stats like CRIT Rate%, CRIT DMG%, etc., will either randomly appear or upgrade. The main stats and sub-stats of the Planar Ornaments depend upon their rarity.
Synthesis
Once you reach Trailblaze level 40 in the game, you will unlock Relic Synthesis. Through this mechanism, you can craft any type of Relic and Set you want, this includes Planar Ornaments. You have to use scraps of other Relics to do that. A minimum of 10 Relic scrap pieces have to be used for crafting a new one. However, the Main Stat of the Relic cannot be chosen by you, it will be random. To choose the Main stats of your crafted Relic, you have to use Self-Modeling Resin.
Examples
Some of the best Planar Ornaments include Rutilant Arena and Broken Keel. Rutilant Arena is a strong slot for characters that focus on Basic ATK or can spam their skills. For example, Selee, Dang Heng, Imbibitor Lunae, etc. This is a great choice for experienced players.
Broken Keel is like a universal support set in the game. It is one of the best for characters with roles of support and sustains, especially with a CRIT-based DPS unit.
