4.Level 9 to 10
There are a total of 10 Levels in Excellent Mode.Levels 9 to 10 are very challenging, and some situations in this phase require specific strategies. It is essential to have a certain elemental coverage with sufficient setup/skills.
(1)Level 9
Stage 9 requires you to defeat as many bounty enemies as possible within a specified time (ignoring nearby common enemies). It has certain skill requirements, and by this point, you often have fewer characters available, requiring careful team arrangement. It is not recommended to engage in Elite Events in thisLevel. When your elemental abilities (Hydro/Pyro) are strong enough, you can choose the Abyss Mages (Pyro/Hydro) situation, while the Ruin Frostarm Lawachurl should be tackled with Pyro characters as much as possible.
(2)Level 10
The final Level of this phase involves a duel with the Abyss Herald - Thunder, Pyro, Hydro Manipulator. It is recommended to bring at least characters with both Grass and Hydro elements and ensure high-frequency attachment. The Abyss Herald will sequentially activate Thunder → Pyro → Hydro shields. Breaking each shield will weaken it for about 3.5 seconds, and breaking all shields will paralyze it for about 12 seconds. After the paralysis ends, all its statuses except health will return to the initial state. It is recommended to use Grass or Pyro to break the Thunder shield, Hydro to break the Pyro shield, and Grass to break the Hydro shield, along with high burst damage output characters. If your setup or skills are lacking, it is recommended to borrow a friend's character to assist in battle.
【Excellent Mode】
To be honest, even for many veteran players, this mode still presents a certain level of challenge pressure, as reflected in:
1. The minimum number of players required has increased to 22, and the maximum number of acts has increased to 10. This means that players need to bring more characters that meet the requirements into the team. To obtain rewards for having a full roster of characters, players need to have a total of 26 characters (excluding the opening, which requires 20), a condition that is not easy to fulfill.
2. Acts 7 to 10 face a certain output pressure, and Acts 8 and 10 have strict shield-breaking requirements. If players do not have enough selectable team members, the rotational nature of the Fantasia Symphony will amplify the pressure of personnel configuration, making it difficult to meet the requirements for these four acts, especially breaking the Hydro shield in Act 8 and the tri-color shield in Act 10.
At the same time, if players complete all ten acts, they can receive an additional 180 Primogems. Even if they do not tackle this mode, it does not affect the acquisition of 620 Primogems under the "Hard Mode".
Overall, this is a challenging mode with not very high rewards, and it is not suitable for all players to tackle. Players don't need to worry too much about these rewards. In fact, if one can enter this mode with a suitable lineup, the mode is still relatively easy in terms of combat alone.
【Recommended Strategies】
1. When your character pool is excellent, and you don't need to consider many strategies, make sure to have a Grass-element character ready to break the shield in Act 8 and have Grass, Water, and Fire characters ready for Act 10, or invite a Thunder-element character from the special invite characters to break the shield. With a sufficient selection of characters, the combat difficulty in the "Excellent Mode" will still be significantly lower than in the "Spiral Abyss".
2. When your character pool is tight and you have some filler members, it is recommended to transition with "Blaze of Glory" for the first 6 acts. Use vacant, low-level Fire and Grass-element characters to tackle the easier levels, then switch to your main characters for output in the last four acts. Choose "Blossom of Revelation" and "Evaporation of Glory" based on the output characteristics of your main team members. Note that in this phase, it is not advisable for players to choose the Grass Field branch in "Blossom of Revelation" when lacking high-quality trigger positions, as it is very easy to fail.
