With the second Honkai Star Rail Anniversary just around the corner, Trailblazers are preparing for a whirlwind of events. One such ongoing event is the Seal Slammers. It is a bumper fight game where you must knock out various seals in competitions and receive some decent rewards.

Also, with the Cherished Recollection coming soon, it is good to get some Honkai Star Rail Oneiric Shards from TOPUPlive. The Seal Slammers event will run till May 19, 2025, and give you rewards.

Prerequisites for Unlocking the Seal Slammers Event

There are two ways to unlock this event. One is by completing the Witch's Mirrored Reversal quest. It is the final quest that you do in 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose Series,' which came in version 3.2.

The other way is to grind yourself to Trailblazer Level 21, where you unlock all events through Finality's Vision, even if you do not meet the prerequisites.

How To Play Seal Slammers?

Go For Matches

Compete with your seals in matches and fight against opponents, in the story quest and online.

Using The Seals

The main gist of the match is to launch seals and deal damage to the opponent by bumping into them. It is very similar to bumper cars found in carnivals. You will be able to control both the direction and intensity of the launch. It is a turn-based game, so once you play, your opponent plays.

The seals have health points. Once they lose all their HP, they will get knocked out. Similarly, there is also an attack score, which gives the damage it can deal to the opponents. The seals also come with talents or abilities.

Phagousa's Blessings

You can choose the buffs to strengthen your seals during the matches. You are allowed to select 1 blessing from an option of three blessings. Some blessings have prerequisites based on the seal or various environmental conditions.

Unlocking Seals

Progressing the storyboard or even in the multiplayer, you will need new seals. So, use the Seal Tokens from the matches to buy the different types of seals from the market.

The Stages in the Seal Slammers Event

The competition is divided into three distinct rounds: the Group Stage, the Elimination Round and the Championship. In all, you will have to face at most 9 distinct teams. So, you will be leading a team with Bubble to acquire victory. After each match, you can earn Seal Tokens, which can be used to buy new seals. Now, if you complete all the story mode quests and grind your Carnival Level, you can get Bubbles too. You will also unlock the Arena Mode, allowing you to compete with other seal trainers worldwide.

The Group Stage

Facing Timos

Timos is a well-known in-game e-commerce streamer on the 'World Wound Web' and is a Superhero ambassador. This stage has minimal obstacles, with only one pillar in the middle. So, it acts as both defence, whilst you have to work your way around to defeat the enemy seals.

Aim your mega seal at your seals to buff their ATK. If you bounce it off the wall, you can stack the ATK buff.

Facing Perhippas

Perhippas is a strong-willed contestant. This stage will be a bit different from the previous round. Now, the pillars have spikes! These spiked pillars will deal 3 DMG. So, you have to stay clear of it whilst trying to bounce the enemy seals into the spiked pillar.

Here, the seal is the Bandaged Seal. It tends to buff itself when its HP goes below 25 HP. So, try to knock it out in one shot by building up ATK buffs from the mega seals.

Facing Tribbie

Tribbie is the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis. The stage will have three pillars, and again, they are spiky ones. So, try to stay clear of it while bouncing the enemy seals into the spikes.

Your first target to take out will be the Angel Seal. It allows the ally seals to heal themselves when they collide with it. You can use the Bandaged Seal to hit the spiked walls to get the ATK bonus. The Boom Boom Seal allows you to hit the seals at difficult angles.

The Elimination Round

Facing Yourdei

Yourdei is a wild character, and it is even his life motto. The stage will feature Floaties, basically pillars which allow you to gain 1 ATK when you hit them, in the same way, your enemy can do it. It is located at the bottom-centre, top-left and at the top-right.

Your first goal will be to take out the Red Hot Seal. Its ATK increases per round with the times it hits your seals. So, to compensate, you can use the Angel Seal to combat the increase in ATK per hit.

Facing "Spirithief" Bartholos

"Spirithief" Bartholos is a passionate thief, to be simply put. The stage has spike walls and floaties at the top-left corner, bottom-right corner, and centre. So, use the pillars wisely.

Here, your main aim will be to take out the Dark Seal first. It can absorb all its allied seals and get a sliver of the ATK and health. So, to compensate, you can use the Red Hot Seal to raise the damage done. You can also get lucky by getting the Phagousa's Blessings, namely Self-Destruct Seal Truck, allowing you to do a trade-off, one-shotting the Dark Seal by sacrificing a seal.

Facing Trinnon

Trinon is another one of the Holy Maidens of Janusopolis. Here, the stage has a special circle in the middle of the field. If you are in the field, your seal will get an extra action.

Try to have either a Red Hot Seal or a Dark Seal in your lineup. The Red Hot Seal allows you to act twice if you are in the circle at the centre. Similarly, you can use your Dark Seal in the centre, allowing it to become potent and carry your team.

The Championship

Facing Dan Heng

Dan Heng is an invisible threat, very talented at seal slammers. The stage has whirlpools and a new feature, will-o'-wisps, which gives the Ghost Seal buffs. In this match, you cannot use Bubbles.

Your main strategy will be to prevent the Ghost Seal from reaching the wisps. To accomplish this goal, you can try to hit the Ghost Seal at an angle that aligns with the whirlpool so that you can reduce the HP as fast as possible.

Facing Hyacine

Hyacine is one of the characters who cared for Bubbles, but she comes as an opponent now. The stage features spiky pillars at the top corners and a floatie at the bottom centre. In this round, you will not be able to use Bubbles.

Here, your main objective will be to take out Bubbles first, as Bubbles can deal extra damage with the +1 action it comes with. Also, watch out for the Red Hot Seal too. You can try brute forcing your way by using the Angel Seal and healing your seals through this match.

Facing Cipher

Cipher is a mysterious figure, but very skilled. After Hyacine's stage, Cipher will come against you immediately. This stage features a Spiky Seal, which can counter your attack and deal damage when struck.

A good strategy will be to use an Angel Seal to heal and draw out the match. On the flip side, you can also brute force by making use of Bubbles.

Multiplayer Mode

There is an online multiplayer mode for the Seal Slammers Competitions. It allows you to challenge others, with rankings, rewarding you with Stellar Jade. This feature will still be available after Version 3.2, making it a good source for Stellar Jade. But the best way to get Stellar Jade is to buy Honkai Star Rail Oneiric Shards. With the Cherished Recollection event coming soon, it is the best time to get them.
