Core Strategy: In the early stages, avoid fighting with Guai, opening any prisons or chests. Instead, move stealthily, locate the Demon General Lianyan, and defeat him. Then, defeat all the keepers of the prison to obtain the precious auspicious lantern. Next, challenge Miao Yin and finally teleport back to the lower level. Re-climb the tower to open all chests. By following this strategy, you won't face the health halving debuff during combat. The prisons with purple circles will also be unlocked, allowing you to enter and exit freely, ultimately obtaining the precious auspicious lantern successfully.
1. Recommended Speedrun Route for the Futo Realm: Talk to Prince Xiaozhang, then defeat 2 keepers of prison, save at the lower level Earth Temple, and defeat 2 more keepers of prison. Proceed to the end to open the treasure chest "Precious Play - Fine Ceramic Tea Meng," then go upstairs and defeat another keeper of prison. Use invisibility to cross the rope bridge, go upstairs to the upper-level Earth Temple save point. Defeat the Demon General Lianyan, then return to the save point and move forward, using invisibility to cross the rope bridge again. After defeating 3 keepers of prison, go upstairs, run invisibly to the fourth level, then run up to the fifth level, and head left to the Earth Temple save point. Return to the stairway entrance, go right and engage in combat. Go downstairs, defeat the last keepers of prison to obtain the Precious Play. Return to the Earth Temple save point, equip the auspicious lantern, go up and defeat the Demon General Miaoyin. After defeating Miaoyin, return to the previous level, talk to Prince Xiaozhang, then redo the route to collect all chests and essences.
2. Unique Precious Plays Collection in the Futo Realm:
- Auspicious Lantern: Obtain by defeating 9 keepers of prison. Distribution of the 9 keepers of prison: 4 on the first level (2 before the Earth Temple, 2 at the end of the corridor); 1 on the second level, before crossing the rope bridge; 3 on the third level, walk straight along the outer path after crossing the rope bridge; 1 in the hidden area you jump down to on the fifth level, near the location of the Knife Soul Essence.
- Snow-Resistant Branch: Obtain by defeating Demon General Lianyan.
- Fine Ceramic Tea Meng: Located at the end of the bottom floor of the Futo Tower.
- Mani Bead: Obtain by defeating random small enemies (not necessarily unlocked in the Futo Realm).
3. Unique Essences in the Futo Realm:
- Second Level: Yaksha Slave Essence
- Third Level: Mushroom Man Essence
- Knife Monk Essence
4. Some Common Enemies in the Futo Realm:
- Keeper of prison: Specifically appears under the Red Eye debuff, defeating them yields over 2k Spirit Essence and a large amount of experience.
- Patrol Guards: Red-haired, deal high damage, easily take you out under the Red Eye debuff.
- Hanging and Winged Bat Creatures: Engage in ranged attacks. Winged bat creatures are prone to swoop down and knock you off to your demise.
- Ranged Small Enemies: Positioned on rope bridges or high locations, making them hard to reach. It's advisable to use invisibility to cross rope bridges.
- Zombie Small Enemies: Become agitated in the Red Eye state, relentlessly pursuing and attacking you. Some wield large swords with high attack power.
5. Two Bosses:
(1) Demon General Miao Yin: Miao Yin will roar, causing your health bar to halve. Its weak points are the left foot and head, so players need to continuously switch their focus between these two areas. After hitting the foot around seven to eight times, it will trigger a stiffening fall. During this time, the head is vulnerable to high damage, but be cautious not to use a charged heavy stick attack, as it may wake him up sooner. Lastly, be mindful when it electrifies its feet and jumps; it will grab and throw you into the air, potentially taking half of your health in one sequence. To counter this, you can throw a stone or use invisibility to avoid being caught when it jumps.
Recommended Attribute Allocation: Invest less in health and focus on strength and magic. Learn Stick Flower or if you are familiar with the Stand Stick, you can charge it twice directly at the head.
Recommended Skills: Little Monkey + Stone + Immobilization + Invisibility
Recommended Strategy: Dodge the lightning first + stand behind and use Stick Flower on the foot + during the Red Eye buff phase, try not to use healing items and focus on dealing damage + use Little Monkey at the beginning of the stiffening fall + follow up with Light Stick/ Stick Flower on the head + Immobilize the head/charge heavy stick attack + use Stone Man/Invisibility to dodge the jumping attack. Repeat the above steps 2-3 times.
(2) Demon General Lian Yan: Can counter with a shield, so bring a Copper Head Iron Arm if you have it. Otherwise, use a regular Split Stick or Stand Stick. When the laser beams at the four corners appear on the ground, stand on the stone at the left rear corner.
7. Prince Xiao Zhang Side Quest
After defeating Lian Yan, the purple circle in the previous prison will automatically disappear. At this point, return to the first prison on the lower level of the Futo Tower where you first entered, and you will find Prince Xiao Zhang there, triggering two side quests.
(1) Third Prince Side Quest to Obtain the Grey Sting Spell
Prerequisite Plot Explanation: You must go to the location of Licorice in the Sha Men Village during Chapter 2, defeat the monsters, and talk to the Rat Kingdom citizen hiding in the house to learn that the Third Prince has gone to the Western Heaven Buddha Land.
Unlock Location 1: Next to Prince Xiao Zhang's side, there is a Rat Captain's body. Simply draw your sword to obtain it.
Unlock Location 2: If there is no body next to the prince, go to the end of the second level to see if the actual Rat Captain is there. Defeat him and then draw your sword to obtain the spell.
(2) After collecting the Four Demon Generals, return to speak with Prince Xiao Zhang to receive the Chu Bai Spearhead, the first spear weapon that allows continuous thrusting.
